Pankaj Kalra has 23 years of experience and a demonstrated track record of working across multiple sectors. His functional skill set includes expertise in M&A, fundraising (both onshore and offshore), accounting, internal controls, procurement and financial modelling. Prior to joining Essar, he was CFO of Cairn Oil & Gas, and has been associated with Reliance, Aircel, Idea, American Tower and EY. Pankaj is a rank holder Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary, with a Bachelor’s degree in commerce from Sri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi.

Sujoy is a seasoned professional with two decades of rich experience across oil & gas sector in various sedimentary basins & fields in India. His expertise includes exploration planning and execution, discovery assessment, field appraisal, field development and production geoscience. Sujoy has held various leadership positions during his rich two decades of experience at Cairn India Limited. Prior coming to Essar, he was Head – Subsurface with Cairn India Limited. Sujoy holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Geology from IIT – ISM Dhanbad. He is a recipient of the ISM Gold Medal and Hayden’s Medal from the Mining Geological Metallurgical Institute of India.

Chief Financial Officer - EOGEPL

Ranjan Jindal is the Chief Financial Officer at Essar Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Limited and is associated with the Company since Jan 2020. He is responsible for the overall finance and cost control for the operations at Raniganj. Ranjan secured a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata in 2001. He served the VISA Group for about 14 years, starting from their steel plant in Kalinganagar, Odisha. He rose to the position of Chief Financial Officer in 2018 and was also on the board of various VISA Group of Companies. During his tenure at VISA, he has been part of various committees, working in close co- ordination with the Chairman of the Group. He has been instrumental in tying up debt of approx. ₹ 5,000 Crores for the power arm of the Group – VISA Power Limited. A Chartered Accountant, Ranjan has more than 16 years of experience in finance, commercial and treasury operations, internal contracts & fund raising.

Sanjay has Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from (IIT) Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad and Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, UK respectively. Sanjay has 19 years of industry experience and has led sub-surface teams for large scale water flood field developments, production optimisation, reservoir management and chemical EOR projects. Sanjay spent most of his career with Cairn Oil and Gas where he was one of the key contributors in implementing water flood & polymer flood projects and led production optimisation and reservoir management efforts in the Rajasthan oil fields. He, along with his colleagues, founded Entropia Energy in March 2020 and was part of its leadership team before joining EOGEPL as VP & Head Sub Surface in July 2021. In his current role, Sanjay is heading EOGEPL’s Subsurface and Production Optimization Group.

Roshan Agrawal is a Mechanical Engineer, Executive MBA having 29 years of techno-commercial experience in cement, power, mining, oil & gas sector. He has headed functions like purchase & contracts, supply chain, business development, marketing, greenfield project development, operation & maintenance of large manufacturing units. He has worked with prestigious Indian and MNC companies like Tata Steel, Lafarge, Saint Gobain, Heidelberg Cement and Essar. During 2017-20, Roshan independently handled procurement of more than ₹ 1,500 crore efficiently. He also executed end-to-end tendering process and auction worth of ₹ 5,000 crore in the mineral project related service contracts.

Vikram Godey

Vikram is a Mechanical Engineer (1984-1988) from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He worked with India’ s premier oil & gas company ONGC (1989-2004), mostly in offshore oil & gas processing installations as an operations & maintenance engineer. He also worked in the offshore engineering & construction division as a project engineer responsible for execution of global turnkey projects right from conceptualisation to commissioning of offshore process/wellhead platforms and subsea pipelines. Subsequently Vikram relocated to Singapore (till 2011) covering the entire south east Asia region as a rotating equipment vibration engineer. He served as a third party vibration consultant for major oil companies like Exxon Mobil, Shell, Chevron, Petronas Carigali etc. Vikram also worked in the pharmaceutical, power and marine segments in a similar role. Experienced in industrial automation projects (Siemens PLC, AC/DC drives etc), Vikram also worked in LPG storage installations, oil/chemical tank farms etc.

Jonathan Tandon

Jonathan Tandon is a seasoned campaigner in oil and gas industry. He has been with Essar since 1986 and has been working in various roles in E&P division of erstwhile Essar Oil Limited. He has wide experience in setting up the Vadinar Refinery. Jonathon started his career as Direct Man and gradually rose to the level of Vice President, Drilling. He has presided over drilling operations of EOGEPL since its inception. He holds Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
